The_Hammer 4/24/2012 11:25:51 AM rifle sling mounting is a very subjective/personal thing and what may be “best” for one person isn’t necessarily the “best” for another. It also depends a lot on how your rifle is set up and it’s intended use. I personally like mine mounted like this. I like it mounted forward so I have plenty of room for different hand positions on the handguards. I also tend to wrap my thumb around the rifle sling mount as a hand stop when I’m using the light. henschman

9/4/2008 11:06:04 PM I’m probably wrong about this, not a structural engineer, but couldn’t you bevel out part of the folder so that it will go past the mount? The issue of not being able to fold it with optics on isn’t a big one in my book, because you can’t do it with the left side folders either. I was toying with this idea myself just the other day……. 7/30/2009 9:15:48 PM The Streamlight is an LED model, which should give yuo more run tim than the incadecent G2. If you want the G2 LED, your going to pay $65 to $70. Personally, My only Streamlights are keymates- they are nice lights for the money. I also like Surefiresproducts.I own an E2E, a basic incandescent model- which I prefer in incandescent, I have other cheap LED options (converted mini-mag, keymate, etc….). I have also had great experiences with SurefiresCS, even when the problem was most likely my fault. younggunner09
